Lamar Miller injures right shoulder, rushes only 11 times for Texans Monday night
Houston Texans running back Lamar Miller rushed just 11 times for 61 yards in the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Broncos on Monday night.
Miller split work with Alfred Blue for the majority of the contest after he injured his right shoulder on his third carry of the game. They finished with 11 carries a piece, while Blue out-snapped Miller 35-to-32. Running the ball isn't the issue, but as far as the passing game goes, Houston has a problem. Miller gets a mouth-watering matchup with the Detroit Lions in Week 8.
Among the 21 running backs to rush at least 100 times this season, Miller's -0.04 Rushing Net Expected Points per play rank 16th.
