Blake Bortles

Jaguars have full faith in Blake Bortles

The Jacksonville Jaguars "firmly, firmly believe" in quarterback Blake Bortles, and he'll remain the Jaguars' starting quarterback, head coach Gus Bradley said.

What It Means:

They have nothing to gain by switching to Chad Henne or Brandon Allen, but Bortles has been one of the worst starting quarterbacks in football through Week 7. He's 29th in both completion percentage (59.7 percent) and passer rating (76.4), while tossing the third-most interceptions. Bortles' play has fallen off a cliff after what is looking like a fluke 2015 season. With Bortles not producing in a dream home spot against the lagging Oakland Raiders this past Sunday, he's firmly off the fantasy radar.

Bortles earned -6.34 Net Expected Points on his 43 passing attempts in Week 7, per numberFire Live.
