Kenneth Dixon to be more involved in Ravens' backfield

Baltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon could see a bigger role moving forward, as head coach John Harbaugh said Monday he wants to get the rookie more involved.

What It Means:

Expect Dixon to see a bigger role in Baltimore's backfield coming out of their Week 8 bye. He suffered a sprained MCL in the preseason, causing him to miss the first four weeks of the year. The rookie has seen a total of nine touches, but could prove to be a late-season fantasy factor. With six teams on bye over each of the next two weeks, roster spots are in high demand, but he could be worth the lottery ticket stash for those with space. Terrance West has dominated the Ravens' carries so far and his value could take a hit over the season's second-half.

Dixon has accumulated -1.79 Rushing Net Expected Points on six carries in three games this season. He had one rush in Week 7.
