Chip Kelly expects Colin Kaepernick to start after 49ers bye week
San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly has said that he "would think" that Colin Kaepernick will continue to start after the team's Week 8 bye week.
With Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder being the other quarterbacks in San Francisco, Kaepernick may be the team's best option despite his struggling this season.
Kaepernick posted a rough -11.62 Passing Net Expected Points in the 49ers' Week 7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per numberFire Live.
