Packers' Don Jackson leaves Thursday's game with hand injury
Green Bay Packers running back Don Jackson injured his left hand on Thursday night and was forced to make an early exit from the Packers' 26-10 win over the Chicago Bears.
The Packers' backfield was already severely depleted, with injuries to Eddie Lacy and James Starks creating an opportunity for Jackson -- who saw only two carries before leaving the game. Ty Montgomery was the primary back on Thursday, and he will share duties with Knile Davis.
While two carries doesn't tell us much about Jackson, he was a safe bet to be better than Knile Davis, whose finished 2014 with the second-lowest success rate among 100-plus carry running backs over the last five years.
