Brian Hoyer suffers a broken arm as Bears fall to Packers
Chicago Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer was forced out of Thursday's game against the Green Bay Packers with a broken left arm.
It was Hoyer's non-throwing arm, which is encouraging, but obviously this will keep him on the sidelines for a while. The Bears are left with Jay Cutler, who is nursing a thumb injury, and Matt Barkley at quarterback.
Hoyer managed only -1.56 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) on 11 pass attempts before making his early exit. He fared significantly better than Barkley, who posted -7.39 Passing NEP on 15 attempts.
