Carlos Hyde expected to return for 49ers after bye
San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde (shoulder, out) is expected to miss just one game.
According to Hyde, his shoulder injury is "definitely not" a long-term issue. With the 49ers having their bye in Week 8 and Hyde already being ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he'll have 21 days to heal between contests. Mike Davis is leader of the San Francisco backfield committee in the meantime.
Our models project Davis to collect 45 yards on 12 touches versus the Buccaneers on Sunday, scoring 0.39 total touchdowns.
