Bills' LeSean McCoy diagnosed with 'mild to moderate' hamstring strain

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has been diagnosed with a "mild to moderate" hamstring strain.

What It Means:

"We'll see what happens with our medical evaluation," said head coach Rex Ryan. "We feel good about the guys we do have, but that’s assuming he won’t play, so we’ll see how it goes." Expect an update on Friday, but McCoy is probably headed for a game-time call. Mike Gillislee is on deck to fill in if McCoy is unable to go in Week 7.

If he is able to play, numberFire's metrics rank McCoy as the third-best running back for this week's slate, projecting him to rush 17 times for 86 yards and 0.85 touchdowns, while adding 20 yards on 3 catches through the air.
