49ers' Carlos Hyde (shoulder) is out for Week 7

San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde (shoulder) is out for Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

What It Means:

This was expected after head coach Chip Kelly said it "would be a stretch" for Hyde to play this week. Hyde's shoulder injury isn't overly serious and he should only miss one game with the 49ers on a Week 8 bye. Mike Davis and Shaun Draughn will form a committee in his absence.

Our models project Davis for 30 rushing yards and 0.24 touchdowns on 9 carries, as well as 15 receiving yards and 0.15 touchdowns on 3 receptions. Draughn comes in for 23 rushing yards and 0.12 touchdowns on 8 carries, as well as 2 3 receiving yards on 4 receptions.
