Joe Flacco (shoulder) misses Ravens' practice
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday.
What It Means:
Flacco received an MRI this week after he took some big hits during a Week 6 loss to the New York Giants. He didn't miss any snaps in the outing, but reporters noted that the quarterback "looked shaky" after the game. Head coach John Harbaugh said Flacco has a "legitimate shot" to play on Sunday versus the New York Jets, but his status shouldn't be taken for granted. Ryan Mallett is second on the depth chart for Baltimore.
Flacco currently ranks 29th in Passing Net Expected Points per dropback, out of the 32 quarterbacks with at least 75 dropbacks this season.
