Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will start Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
According to RapSheet, Tony Romo (back) may not be ready for Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns, either. The Cowboys can slow-play it as long as Prescott keeps winning. 5-1 heading into the bye, Prescott deserves to keep the job.
Prescott's 0.33 Passing Net Expected Points per play ranks third among quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs through Week 6.
