Kevin Johnson (broken foot) likely headed to Texans' injured reserve
Houston Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson (broken foot) is expected to be placed on injured reserve.
Johnson is unlikely to be designated as the Texans' "return" player, per the Houston Chronicle. Teammates Kareem Jackson and Johnathan Joseph are both banged up as well, so it's a pretty significant loss for Houston's secondary. The 2015 first-round pick has dealt with foot issues in the past.
The Texans' secondary limited the Indianapolis Colts to -0.19 Net Expected Points on 32 passing attempts during a Week 6 victory Sunday night, per numberFire Live.
