Ravens' Jimmy Smith suffers concussion, exits Week 6 game

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith suffered a concussion in Sunday's Week 6 game against the New York Giants and will not return.

What It Means:

He suffered the injury late in the first half. Smith wasn't shadowing Giants' top receiver Odell Beckham, though he did match up with him on a few occasions. Smith logged five tackles before exiting. Will Smith has entered the game in Smith's place.

The Ravens' secondary has allowed just 1.77 Net Expected Points on 32 pass plays in Week 6, per numberFire Live.
