Cowboys' Tony Romo might not be ready by Week 8
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo (back) might not be ready to return Week 8 against the Eagles according to ESPN Cowboys reporter Todd Archer.
Romo has been expected back after the Cowboys' bye week, but Archer doesn't think he'll have enough practice time to start in Week 8. Week 9 seems like the more realistic timeline for Romo, but with Dak Prescott playing well, it could drag out the decision even further for Dallas.
With Prescott under center, the Cowboys rank third in Passing Net Expected Points this season. Our models have Prescott throwing for 226 yards and 1.51 touchdowns in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers.
