Steve Smith (ankle) not expected to play in Ravens' Week 6
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. (ankle) is not expected to play Week 6 against the New York Giants, ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley said in an appearance on Sirius XM's Next Level Fantasy Football.
Smith went down early in the first quarter of the Week 5 loss to Washington and never was able to return. Hensley expects Kamar Aiken to benefit the most with Smith out. Smith was running roughly half of his routes out of the slot this season, and Aiken is the next-best slot man, considering that Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman man solely the outside spots.
Aiken has caught six of his 11 targets to-date, for a Reception Net Expected Points per target rate of -0.11.
