Cody Kessler (ribs) expected to be under center for Browns Week 6
Cleveland Browns quarterback Cody Kessler (ribs) is expected to play in Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
What It Means:
X-rays already came back negative, and Kessler "checked out OK" after undergoing additional tests on Monday, per Rapoport. Charlie Whitehurst is the only healthy option at quarterback currently on the Browns roster.
Kessler had created 5.28 Net Expected Points on eight passing attempts prior to his exit, per numberFire Live.
