Cardinals' Carson Palmer still in NFL concussion protocol
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is still in the concussion protocol, said general manager Steve Keim.
Palmer is "feeling great by all indications," per Keim, and he will get an additional day of recovery due to the Cardinals being scheduled for Monday Night Football in Week 6. He'll be on the QB1 radar for that matchup with the New York Jets in a plus matchup. Drew Stanton would draw another start in the event Palmer can't play.
Entering Week 5, there had been 34 quarterbacks with at least 50 dropbacks on the season. Among those, Palmer's 0.15 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback ranks 17th in the league.
