Chargers' secondary will also be without Brandon Flowers (concussion) Sunday
San Diego Chargers defensive back Brandon Flowers (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 5.
The Chargers will be short two of their top-three corners versus Derek Carr and the Oakland Raiders after it was announced earlier in the week that Jason Verrett would undergo season-ending ACL surgery. This will be the second straight absence for Flowers.
The Chargers defense ranks 10th by schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play through four weeks.
