Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz may have more designed runs called for him as the season progresses, head coach Doug Pederson said.
Pederson has yet to scheme any designed runs for his rookie signal-caller, as Wentz has only nine rushing attempts through his first three NFL outings, and three of those were in the victory formation. The second-overall pick from this year's draft should continue flirting with QB1 numbers moving forward.
Wents draws a tasty matchup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He currently ranks as numberFire's QB7 for Week 5 and is expected to complete 21 passes for 248 yards, 1.76 touchdowns and 0.49 interceptions.
