Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer has been impressing with "catch after catch" during the first few practices at Broncos training camp.
Latimer is currently slotted as the number-three wide receiver on the Broncos depth chart behind Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. Latimer had only 37 snaps and two receptions as a rookie last season.
The Broncos ranked second in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points metric last season, but they are expected to take a more conservative offensive approach under new head coach Gary Kubiak. Coach Kubiak also has an affinity for two-tight end sets, which could leave Latimer on the sidelines. We project Latimer to finish the season with 17 receptions, 212 receiving yards, and one touchdown.
