Buccaneers concerned about Jameis Winston's regression
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston's interceptions are becoming a cause for concern, head coach Dirk Koetter said.
After throwing just 15 picks last year, Winston has already tossed eight in four games. "He's not regressing, but we've got to take care of the football," Koetter said. Winston threw seven picks in his first four games last season before Koetter pulled back the reins on allowing him to throw (especially downfield). Winston had just 77 attempts total in the next three games, which could portend a similar drop-off in 2016.
On Winston's 35 passing attempts in Week 4 he accrued -13.53 Net Expected Points, per numberFire Live.
