Browns' Josh Gordon entering rehab, return unknown

Cleveland Browns suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon has decided to enter an in-person rehab facility, and will not return to the team when first eligible in week 5.

What It Means:

"After careful thought and deep consideration I’ve decided that I need to step away from pursuing my return to the Browns and my football career to enter an in-patient rehabilitation facility," Gordon explained in a statement. "This is the right decision for me and one that I hope will enable me to gain full control of my life and continue on a path to reach my full potential as a person." His fantasy value is essentially shot for the 2016 season. Gordon has played in five games since his All-Pro campaign in 2013. Until rookie first-round pick Corey Coleman (hand) returns, Terrelle Pryor is entrenched as the Browns' number-one receiver.

Prior to the news, Gordon was projected to finish the 2016 season with 62 receptions for 785 yards receiving and 4.48 touchdowns. The majority of that production will likely be split amongst Pryor and Coleman. We previously expected Pryor to record 701 receiving yards and 2.79 touchdowns on 52 catches over the remainder of the year.
