Russell Wilson (knee, ankle) confident he'll play Sunday
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (knee, ankle) has "no doubt" he'll start Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
Wilson twisted his knee last Sunday and had to leave the game, prompting many to believe that he would sit out this Sunday against the New York Jets with the Seahawks then having their bye in Week 5. However, he says he'll "be ready to go" for an appealing matchup against a Jets defense that is currently allowing a league-worst 9.7 yards per attempt. The injury puts a damper on his ceiling, but Wilson remains a QB1 for Week 4.
Our models expect Wilson to complete 17 passes for 207 yards with 1.65 touchdowns and 0.44 interceptions against the Jets on Sunday, adding 23 yards and 0.21 scores on the ground. He's numberFire's 10th-ranked quarterback this weekend.
