Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (knee) is not expected to play in Week 4's game against the San Francisco 49ers, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
There have been all kinds of reports swirling, but Schefter is as reliable a source as there is, and it's a safe bet that Bryant will not suit up on Sunday. Cole Beasley -- who already leads the team in targets -- should see an expanded role this week.
Bryant has had a slow start to the season, and ranks second on the Cowboys -- behind Beasley -- in both Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) and Reception NEP per target.
