J.J. Watt (back) has "slim" odds to return this season, per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
What It Means:
Rapoport does indicate that there are "no long-term concerns" for Watt, which is good news for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
Houston currently ranks second in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play, but we can expect that ranking to fall significantly with the loss of their most valuable defender.
