Paul Perkins ready to step up for Giants
New York Giants running back Paul Perkins is ready to step up, according to head coach Ben McAdoo.
What It Means:
With Shane Vereen done for the season and Rashad Jennings fighting a thumb injury, Perkins will be part of a running back committee featuring Orleans Darkwa and Bobby Rainey.
Darkwa leads the Giants' backfield in efficiency so far this season, with 0.41 Rushing Net Expected Points on 11 carries.
