Vikings' Laquon Treadwell isn't playing naturally yet
Minnesota Vikings first-round rookie wide receiver Laquon Treadwell isn't playing because "he's still thinking too much," head coach Mike Zimmer said Monday.
Treadwell was a healthy scratch in Week 3, even with Charles Johnson struggling mightily. Zimmer did praise Treadwell for having a "good attitude" while riding the bench. Current X receiver Johnson has just 20 receiving yards on ten targets through three games. It's only a matter of time before Treadwell supplants him.
Johnson picked up 0.00 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) on his two targets in Week 3 -- but -2.59 Target NEP -- per numberFire Live.
