Adrian Peterson (knee) could make it back for Vikings' playoffs games
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's (knee, injured reserve) "sole focus" is playing again this season, Pro Football Talk reports.
Peterson is expected to miss a "minimum" of three months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus last week, but it would not be the first time Peterson beat an injury timetable. The Vikings look headed for the playoffs, and Peterson might be able to help them once they get there if he can return fully healthy.
Peterson's -8.93 Rushing Net Expected Points are the second-worst among running backs to start the season.
