Washington confirms DeAngelo Hall (knee) tore his ACL
Washington free safety DeAngelo Hall tore his ACL Week 3 against the New York Giants, an MRI confirmed.
Doctors always suspected a tear, though Hall himself hoped for a less serious outcome. Hall had looked good in his transition to safety, so his loss is a big one for an already thin safety corps. Hall is owed $4.25 million in 2017, the final year of his deal.
Washington ranked 30th in the league in Defensive Passing Net Expected Points coming into Week 3.
