Manti Te'o tore Achilles' in Chargers' Week 3 game

San Diego Chargers inside linebacker Manti Te'o likely suffered a torn Achilles' Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts.

What It Means:

He will have an MRI on Monday to confirm, but Te'o is likely done for the season. If so, he will be the third Charger lost to a torn Achilles' this season. "Freak accidents like this, you can’t predict stuff like that," Te'o said of the injury. "It’s all about moving forward."

Te'o picked up 17 tackles over the first three games of the season. The Chargers' defense allowed quarterback Andrew Luck just -1.77 Net Expected Points (NEP) on 37 passing attempts in Week 3, as well as limiting Frank Gore to -0.61 NEP on 21 rushing attempts.
