Seahawks' Russell Wilson dealing with knee sprain after Week 3
The Seattle Seahawks believe quarterback Russell Wilson has a sprained MCL in his left knee, MMQB's Albert Breer reports.
Both head coach Pete Carroll and Wilson himself expressed confidence after Sunday's win that Wilson will be able to play in Week 4 against the New York Jets. NBC's Mike Florio reported Wilson will undergo an MRI on Sunday night to determine the full extent of the damage. Wilson insisted he "doesn't think the knee injury is as serious as it looked." Wilson is also dealing with a high ankle sprain on his right leg.
Before his Week 3 exit, Wilson earned 8.76 Net Expected Points per numberFire Live.
