Seahawks' Christine Michael rushes 20 times against 49ers

Seattle Seahawks running back Christine Michael rushed 20 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns in their Week 3 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

What It Means:

Just as head coach Pete Carroll described, Michael was shot out of a cannon early in this game with mammoth runs to give Seattle an insurmountable lead. He scored from 41 yards out on one of the first plays of the contest, and got in again during the first 15 minutes. Michael has always possessed elite athleticism and explosiveness, and it's finally beginning to come together in his fourth NFL season. As long as C-Mike keeps running like he has the past two weeks, he should remain Seattle's lead back even when nominal starter Thomas Rawls (leg) heals up.

On his 20 rushing attempts, Michael picked up 3.11 Net Expected Points, per numberFire Live.
