Chiefs noncommittal on Jamaal Charles' (knee) Week 3 status
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles' (knee) status for Week 3 is unclear, after head coach Andy Reid was noncommittal when asked about it.
Reid mentioned that Charles "looked better" at practice last week but wouldn't commit to a return date. Spencer Ware was not the superhuman he showed up as in Week 1, and ESPN's Adam Schefter has already reported that Kansas City plans to have Charles back for Sunday's game. If Charles can go at all, he'll likely be in a committee with Ware to ease him back into game action.
Ware put together just -7.36 Net Expected Points on 10 rushing attempts in Week 2, per numberFire Live.
