Vikings' Laquon Treadwell says no snaps Week 1 was 'mentally challenging'

Minnesota Vikings first-round wide receiver Laquon Treadwell said not playing any snaps Week 1 was "mentally challenging."

What It Means:

"You’ve got to go through it, create some fuel, I guess, to play harder," Treadwell said. "I don’t know. I’ve never been through this. I’ll just come in and work harder and get better." Treadwell was active, but failed to log any snaps and appeared to be behind Cordarrelle Patterson on the Vikings' depth chart. On a positive note, Charles Johnson struggled to get open in Week 1, so the rookie could have an opportunity to earn some more playing time. He remains off the radar in season-long leagues.

We currently project Treadwell to catch 2-of-4 targets against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2, recording 23 yards and 0.16 touchdowns.
