Vikings won't announce Week 2 starting quarterback until Sunday
The Minnesota Vikings won't announce their Week 2 quarterback until Sunday, head coach Mike Zimmer said.
2016 starting quarterback Shaun Hill was reasonably effective on Sunday, but far from impressive. He didn't do anything to delay Sam Bradford's timetable. Bradford figures to see increased first-team reps in this week's practices, and is probably the slight favorite to be under center against the Green Bay Packers, given what the Vikings traded to acquire him.
Hill put up a solid 9.81 Passing Net Expected Points on 33 passing attempts in Week 1, per numberFire Live.
