Texans will be without Brian Cushing for six weeks after he tears MCL
Houston Texans inside linebacker Brian Cushing will miss six weeks with a torn MCL, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Cushing exited in the first quarter of the season opener. Fortunately, he'll be able to avoid surgery. Max Bullough will be the primary replacement while Cushing is sidelined.
Cushing made one tackle and assisted on another in the Texans' 23-14 Week 1 victory over the Chicago Bears.
