Anquan Boldin will be big part of offense for Lions
Detroit Lions wide receiver Anquan Boldin will be a big part of the offense this year, offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said.
The Lions feature a base three-wide offense, so Boldin should see plenty of work despite playing behind Marvin Jones and Golden Tate. He's not a viable standard league option, but is worth a look in deeper PPR formats.
Our models expect Boldin to catch 2 passes for 21 yards Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. With the San Francisco 49ers last season, the veteran wideout recorded a career-low 0.51 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target, only the second time he has finished below the league average.
