Panthers looking to spread out receivers' playing time

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin may see fewer snaps this year than he did in 2014, head coach Ron Rivera said on Tuesday, explaining that he wants to spread out the available playing time at wide receiver.

What It Means:

This is bad, though not exactly surprising news for Benjamin's fantasy value, which was largely driven by volume and opportunity in 2014. Expect Ted Ginn and Devin Funchess to be the biggest beneficiaries of Benajmin's curtailed playing time.

Our models do expect a solid year from Benjamin though, projecting him for 81.23 receptions, 1114.70 yards and 6.80 touchdowns on the season.
