Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson (knee) likely won't be able to play a full slate of snaps Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to the doubts of ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky.
Demovsky's doubts contradict the comments from head coach Mike McCarthy on Monday, who said Nelson would "be full-bore in Jacksonville." Considering that the 31-year-old wide out has only practiced in full for about two weeks heading into Sunday, along with the fact he didn't log a snap in the preseason, the logic seems to lie with Demovsky. Either way, Nelson remains a must-start WR1.
Nelson is our fifth-ranked receiver for the first week of the regular season, projecting him to haul in 6 catches for 93 receiving yards and 0.46 touchdowns versus the Jaguars.
