Austin Seferian-Jenkins

Austin Seferian-Jenkins working with Buccaneers' backups

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins worked with the second-team offense at Monday's practice, reports the Tampa Bay Times' Greg Auman.

What It Means:

Auman did say that Seferian-Jenkins will play "plenty" in the Week 1 divisional matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, but he believes Cameron Brate and Luke Stocker are "starters" and ahead of ASJ on the depth chart. Stocker will likely play more of a fullback role for the Buccaneers while Seferian-Jenkins appears to still be in head coach Dirk Koetter's doghouse.

Our models currently expect Seferian-Jenkins to catch two passes for 31 yards in Week 1, while we have Brate pegged for one grab for an 18 yard gain.
