Seahawks likely starting Luke Willson over Jimmy Graham Sunday
Seattle Seahawks tight end Luke Willson is expected to be the starter in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins, per ESPN's Sheil Kapadia.
Despite head coach Pete Carroll claiming Jimmy Graham has been a "full-go" in practice, it appears that is not the case. Graham ruptured his patellar tendon last season and will likely be limited in Week 1 if he does lace 'em up. Willson doesn't offer much upside, but could be an option in deeper formats with two tight ends.
Our models expect Graham to catch 5 passes for 53 yards and 0.27 touchdowns in Week 1, making him the TE9 in numberFire's projections.
