Jared Goff currently third on Rams' quarterback depth chart
Los Angeles Rams first overall pick Jared Goff is currently the number-three quarterback following Thursday's preseason finale, per head coach Jeff Fisher.
What It Means:
The Rams paid a king's ransom for the top selection in the 2016 draft to take Goff, and the fact that he hasn't yet been able to beat out Case Keenum or Sean Mannion is not a good look.
Our models still account for the Rams smartening up and handing the reins to the first overall pick, as we project Goff to complete 330 of 528 passing attempts for 3,756 yards, 19.90 touchdowns and 14.53 interceptions on the season. We also expect him to add another 240 yards and 1.76 scores on the ground.
