The New England Patriots are "shopping" wide receiver Aaron Dobson for a trade, the MMQB's Albert Breer reports.
They're shopping him because he'll be cut if/when they can't find a trade partner. Dobson has played over 100 snaps this summer, but has little to show for it. Always hurt and mistake-prone, Dobson probably won't even get a conditional late-round pick.
Dobson has never had a Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target mark above his 2013 rate of 0.66. Last year, on 21 targets, Dobson generated just a 0.57 rate in this metric.
