Dolphins place Dion Jordan (knee) on reserve/NFI list
Miami Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan (knee) has been placed on the reserve/NFI list.
As a result, Jordan will be sidelined for at least the first six weeks of the season. Head coach Adam Gase has praised Jordan for his work ethic since returning from a year-long suspension for a diluted drug test sample in 2015. He will likely have a role for Miami at some point this year.
Jordan last played in 2014, recording only 20 tackles and one sack for a Dolphins defense that ranked 21st with a schedule-adjusted 0.06 Defensive Net Expected Points per play that season.
