Chiefs make backup quarterback Aaron Murray available for trade

The Kansas City Chiefs have made backup quarterback Aaron Murray available for trade, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

What It Means:

The Chiefs signed a much more capable backup in Nick Foles, and with only three quarterbacks likely to make the roster, it seems like Tyler Bray has beat out Murray for the final quarterback spot.

Neither Bray nor Murray has played an NFL snap, and the Chiefs offense, which ranked 19th in schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points in 2015, will look no different regardless of what happens with Murray.
