Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee is wearing a knee brace during training camp but is struggling to get used to it.
Hopes were fairly high for Lee last season, but playing with the worst quarterback in the NFL according to our metrics played a large part in holding him back.
According to our Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) metric, which indicates how many points a player adds to his team's expected scoring output relative to an average player, Lee ranked 95th among 109 receivers with at least 60 targets last year. He was 88th on a per-target basis. For comparison's sake, teammate Allen Robinson ranked 87th in cumulative Reception NEP and was 86th on a per-target basis.
