Jets expect David Harris (shoulder) to be ready by Week 1
New York Jets inside linebacker David Harris (shoulder) is expected to be ready by Week 1.
ESPN's Rich Cimini later reported Harris' shoulder is only "bruised." One of the better interior run defenders in the league, Harris is coming off a 108-tackle season with 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. Harris has played in 16-of-16 games in an incredible seven straight seasons.
There isn't likely to be any change to our projection of 117.66 tackles, 5.85 sacks and 4.02 passes defended for Harris in 2016.
