Ravens' Kenneth Dixon (MCL) out for four weeks
Baltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon will be sidelined four weeks with a torn MCL, but does not need surgery.
At first it appeared that Dixon suffered a knee sprain when his knee bent awkwardly on a second quarter goal-line carry. He had to be helped off the field. Dixon was having a strong game before going down, rushing for 41 yards on six carries with the first-team offense. Dixon had a strong camp and preseason. Baltimore has a volatile backfield where the pecking order could change multiple times in September.
In the wake of this news, our algorithms project Dixon for 303 all-purpose yards and 1.06 total touchdowns on 63 touches this year.
