Jeremy Hill

Jeremy Hill could be focal point of Bengals' offense in 2016

Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill could be featured in a power-running offense featuring this season, the Cincinnati Enquirer expects.

What It Means:

The Enquirer's Paul Dehner believes the offense will "swing back closer" to featuring the run this year, which went away in 2015 due to "the success of (Andy) Dalton and abundance of passing-game weapons [which] didn't play into Hill's strength last year." The 2015 Bengals incorporated more spread-passing concepts under ex-offensive coordinator Hue Jackson. Under new coordinator Ken Zampese, Dehner foresees Cincinnati resuming a rushing-oriented approach with Hill, especially considering the losses and injuries in Cincinnati's receiving group.

We're not as emphatic about Hill's prospects this season, as our algorithms currently project Hill for 776 rushing yards and 6.78 touchdowns on 190 carries in 2016.
