Keith Marshall

Keith Marshall playing himself off Washington's roster

Washington "really, really want[s] to keep" seventh-round rookie running back Keith Marshall, but he needs to perform, CSN Mid-Atlantic's Rich Tandler believes.

What It Means:

Through the first two weeks of the preseason, Marshall has rushed 15 times for 25 yards (1.67 average) and has fallen behind undrafted rookie Rob Kelley on the depth chart. Marshall needs to show the team something in the third preseason game this week and -- despite his upside -- could become expendable if Washington finds someone better on the waiver wire.

Marshall is a distant third for Washington, by our models. Our algorithms project him for 152 all-purpose yards and 0.43 touchdowns on 28 total touches in his rookie year. He's a Dynasty stash only right now.
